Cambridge Public Library’s July School Holiday Programme

Join us weekday mornings during the July school holidays, from 10:30 – 11:30am in the Cambridge children’s library.

No need to book, though due to space and resource restrictions numbers may be limited.

Come for as little or as long as you like.
Children under 12 years MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Monday 8th July - make your own light up Olympic Torch

Tuesday 9th July - weave a bracelet for your bestie on a bike wheel inspired loom.

Wednesday 10th July - try your hand at some indoor challenges all using paper cups.

Thursday 11th July - design a team uniform. Choose the team, choose the sport, create the look.

Friday 12th July - make your own ring toss or ball and cup game.

Monday 15th July - challenge yourself to construct the tallest Eiffel Tower using only newspaper and masking tape.

Tuesday 16th July - refine your motor skills and hand stitch the Olympic rings symbol onto fabric.

Wednesday 17th July - craft a boat that uses stored energy to propel itself through the water.

Thursday 18th July - more Paper Cup Games! Try your hand at some more indoor challenges all using paper cups.

Friday 19th July - what sport would you like to play at the Olympics? Create your own mini tabletop sport, let your imagination rule!
