Level Up - Week 1 of the school holidays at Cambridge Library
To celebrate the launch of our boardgame collection, we have themed this first week of the holidays around games!
From minimakers and roleplaying games, to chess tournaments and award winning party games you are bound to find something fun and engaging at the Cambridge Library this week!
Holiday Woodworking - Let's make a planter box!
The ReCreators are running free upcycled woodwork workshops at the library this holiday, for kids age 7+
In this session we will be making planter boxes and learning some woodworking skills along the way! Registrations are essential as we have limited spaces.

Join local author Peter Nicholl as he discusses his political thriller "Sanctions in Paradise" which is based on his own time at the Central Bank of Seychelles in the 80s. It is against this idyllic backdrop that Peter has created this tale of intrigue and action!

September School Holidays - What's on in Week 1?
We have so much planned for week 1 of the holidays at the Waipā District Libraries that we have made a landing page where you can see what is happening at both Te Awamutu and Cambridge! Te Awamutu is running tons crafts for 5 - 12 year olds based on your favourite kiwi authors, while Cambridge is celebrating the launch of our boardgame collection with heaps of opportunities for everyone to get their game on (including teens and adults).
