We have started a tabletop roleplaying group off the back of the one-shot RPG (Role-Playing Game) sessions that ran over the school holidays!
We will be playing most Fridays starting at 5.00pm and running through to 7.00pm.
No need to register, just come and join in the adventure!
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned adventurer you are absolutely welcome to join us.
For those interested in what ruleset we are playing - we are using Basic/Expert DnD (Old School Essentials) from 1981.
You can do anything you like, but there are no take-backs!
Resources for making your character (if you want)
Here is the character sheet needed to make your own character. We recommend printing this one out and using a pencil to fill out your sheet - your equipment and statistics will change as the game progresses!
Here is a link to a webpage from the author of Old School Essentials that takes you through making a character step by step. It is a reference document, so is quite to the point. The reference to 3D6 in the first step is shorthand for "roll 3x regular 6-sided dice".
If you get confused at any point, no worries, bring your character along to the session and we can look at it afterwards!
Please be aware that if the adventurer is under 14 years of age, a parent or responsible adult must be onsite for the duration of the session. If the adventurer is under 12, they must be supervised.
