Genre: Historical Fiction

An historical fiction based in Victorian London in 1850.

The story starts an art exhibition which is being built in Hyde Park.

Two of the projects onlookers are Iris and Silas.

Iris and her twin Rose paint and clothe china dolls for Mrs Salter. Iris is asked to model for artist Louis frost, which she will do on the condition he teaches her to paint.

Silas runs an antiques and curiosities shop. He is obsessed with Iris and his obsession is getting darker and deeper.

Contains a lot of historical references and the roles of women in Victorian England.
