Numbers will be restricted in both libraries and both will operate on a one in one out basis once maximum numbers are reached (30 in Cambridge, 30 in Te Awamutu).
Please observe any decals and markings within the libraries - including near front counters - to ensure physical distancing.
Sanitiser will be available at entry and you will be invited to sanitise your hands before coming in.

Yes, the Government requirement under Delta Level 2 is that masks are required to be worn in indoor venues such as libraries.
When returning library books, residents should keep at least 2 metres distance between themselves and others. Returns are being accepted through the after hours return slots only.
All items returned will be quarantined for 72 hours to minimise any risks.
All children will need to be accompanied by a suitable adult or caregiver and the same time limit restrictions will apply.
No games, toys, puzzles, desks or seating will be available in the children's areas.

The Waikato Region will be at Delta Level 2 at 11.59pm on Tuesday 7 September. Our libraries will reopen Wednesday 8 September but with restrictions in place, including capacity, sign in requirements and the requirement to wear a mask.
Our opening hours will change (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9.30-1pm) and our programmes will also be affected.
