Following Central Government’s decision to implement vaccine passes and Waipā District Council’s internal risk assessment process, the Chief Executive has determined all Council-managed facilities will require a vaccine pass for entry into any Council building. This decision does not stop our services, but will change how we deliver some of those services for the community.
Waipā District Libraries have several options for patrons.
A click and collect service will be available to take orders from Monday 13 December. Collections will be booked in on Wednesday and Friday evenings.
Online resources such as eBooks, eAudiobooks and online database services will also ensure all those in the community who want to check out books, can.
Selected adult and children's classes will continue to be offered via Facebook/YouTube.
