New fees & charges

As a result of your feedback and following Council approval, Waipā District Libraries fees and charges are changing! The new fees and charges apply from 1 July 2021.

The great news is that a significant proportion of our adult book collection will no longer attract a charge to borrow. There will be no charge to borrow books more than 2 years old (determined by the copyright date).

New books (books which are two years old or less) will attract a new higher charge, newer magazines will also be slightly more. The list of new fees and charges is available from our website. A full list of all Council fees and charges for 2021/22 is located here.
