Looking for children aged 8-15 years for PK Kids

Waipā District Libraries is hosting a speech night with a difference featuring children as the speakers.

We are bringing the 10x20 speech format to Cambridge for our tamariki to get involved. This means that speakers will talk to 10 slides for 20 seconds each slide. The images are of the tamariki's choosing and the topic can be anything!

The slides move automatically after 20 seconds as the presenter is speaking. 

We are looking for children aged between 8 and 15 years and a minimum of 8-10 speakers for the event.

Children can register via their library or via an email to Dee.

Children need not be a member of the library and can be from any district.

All children will receive a goody bag for their participation.

The event is currently scheduled for Thursday 4 August at 6pm if the minimum number of speakers can be filled.
