Author month

Posted on 28 February 2022

March is author month, with a series of virtual events scheduled.

If you're interested in publishing your own work, former journalist, now author, Trudi Caffell will share her experience and guide you on the path to self-publishing. This is a six week course held via zoom.

No stranger to Waipā District Libraries, we interview Cambridge local Nikki Crutchley as part of Author Month 2022. In preparation for the interview with Nikki, we are inviting patrons to submit any questions they may have prior to Friday 11 March.

Children's will be interested to listen to our interview with Children's Author Peter Millett. Peter will share, in particular, the inspiration he took from his time on his Uncle's farm in Kihikihi and Te Awamutu for some of his books. We will also be talking to local children's author Dawn McMillan.

Children will also be interested in getting involved in our Pages in Parks Scavenger Hunt, with a prize to be won in both Libraries.
